Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs (EYE) is an EU-funded exchange that lets new or aspiring entrepreneurs spend 1 to 6 months working with an experienced business owner in another participating country. Despite the name, there is no age limit.

Who is eligible?
New entrepreneurs who plan to start a business or have run one for less than three years, with a concrete business idea or plan. Host entrepreneurs must own or manage an SME for more than three years. Both must be based in a participating country, which includes EU Member States and several associated countries.
How much is the grant?
The new entrepreneur receives a monthly contribution towards travel and living costs, paid through the local Intermediary Organisation. Amounts depend on the destination country's cost of living and generally range from around €560 to €1,100 per month.
Writing the business plan
Your application is assessed largely on your business plan and motivation. Describe the value proposition, target market, competition, revenue model and the specific skills you expect to gain from the exchange.
Finding the right host
After approval you search the EYE online catalogue of host entrepreneurs and contact them directly. A host in the same sector who can open doors to customers and suppliers maximises the value of your stay.

Can I apply from Türkiye?
Türkiye has participated through local intermediary organisations; check the current list of participating countries before applying.
